Last week saw quite a bit of sewing in preparation for my stall.
As usual, I ran out of time at the last minute. Things got a bit manic and fabrics got a bit… well, strewn about.
Its a good job I don’t have a dedicated sewing room. Otherwise they would remain strewn, given that I can always find something more interesting to do than tidy up.
But they were distributed across half the living room, so tidy up time had to happen.
There. That’s better.
The grown-up equivalent of putting my crayons in colour order.
So therapeutic.
Just need to find space in the cupboard now…!

This makes me happy AND inspired! Thanks for posting your upbeat note and photo!
You’re welcome Tammy!
I’m always soooo inclined to put off tidying up, but it does actually make me feel so much better to just get on with it!
Yes, living and working in a small space but having and using a lot of things is certainly a challenge – I have to give myself lectures all the time – to put things back in their places! Of course I don’t always listen to myself….
Sarah
I am by nature quite untidy and – dare I say – lazy – when it comes to tidying up! I find it easier not to make mess in the first place than to spend the time necessary to clear it up afterwards. But I hate living in a cluttered space. It is a constant battle I have with myself and my surroundings!
