These wonderful images are by Kathy Klein.
Kathy arranges natural forms including flowers, fruit, pine cones and even vegetables into amazing combinations of colour and texture to form what she calls “danmalas”, based on the vedic sanskrit words dān (“the giver”) and mālā (“garland of flowers”), which translates to “the giving of flower circles”.
The danmalas remind us all to listen to the unheard voice of nature, creation, and the eternal mystery.
I think they are just stunning.
You can see many more of these wonderful creations on Kathy’s website dānmālā, where you can also order cards and prints of her work.
Heartfelt thanks to Kathy for generously allowing me to feature her beautiful images.
