Today’s sewing project was a bit of barkcloth bunting.
Beautification for my friend’s bell tent.
Because we won’t just be camping in France.
Oh no.
As far as luggage space allows, we shall be glamping, don’t you know.
And you definitely need a bit of bunting for that.
This barkcloth was the sturdiest thing in my stash.
Hopefully it will stand up to the weather, whatever that turns out to be.
I also made the tape myself, from some old, rather faded curtains. It seems to go with that groovy orange better than white, my usual choice.
And will show the dirt less.
The hand-crocheted vintage blanket is packed.
Proper wine glasses are packed.
As are the groovy 1960s pillowcases.
I just hope there’s room in the car for the solar powered fairy lights…
