Generally speaking, I am not an apron wearer.
I will admit to sporting one occasionally when undertaking something particularly messy in the kitchen, such as baking, or preparing beetroot.
Nevertheless, I could not resist purchasing a couple of pinnies at the vintage fair – purely for the fabric.
Now – a common problem – I’m not sure I can bring myself to cut them up!
My purchases set me on an interweb quest.
I did a little trawl of Etsy’s vintage wares and found a few more pleasingly pretty pinnies for your perusal.
Do you think they make them so cheery as an antidote to the drudgery of housework?

Yes, they do. Lovely, cheerful aprons!
Works for me!
I LOVE that bottom orange apron!!! Reminds me of my mom!

That bottom one is amazing, and I also love the olive one with the orange and purple flowers – but yours are gorgeous too! I would definitely have trouble cutting them up! BTW I still haven’t got to the post office – both kids have been ill, which combines with my terminal disorganisation has made this a week of epic failure – I will be attempting to send you a little something tomorrow if nothing else goes wrong! xx
They definitely make a cheery addition to my kitchen!
