I started making the blocks for this wonky stars quilt a good while ago.
I actually lost the blocks for quite a while, somewhere in the bermuda triangle that is my fabric stash cupboard.
But they turned up and got me thinking the other day.
Instead of starting a new quilt, I thought, I really ought to get on with the two works in progress I currently have, well, in progress.
So I have been busy stitching my stars together.
I am still nowhere near finished. I reckon there’s a good few days work in this one yet.
But at least it’s progressing.
If a little wonkily.

This quilt is looking really beautiful. I’m so relieved that you lose things too – I cut a load of squares for a baby blanket a few weeks ago and then was so mortified when I couldn’t find them! They have turned up finally, but I am forcing myself to put a back on the rainbow patchwork I made a few months ago first – it’s so hard to be disciplined with our beautiful stashes isn’t it!? x
Definitely! I’m ashamed to admit that I currently have managed to misplace my entire stock of bunting! They have obviously gone on holiday in the Bermuda Triangle in my cupboard…
Very pretty … love all the blue in the photo … very calming … Bee x
It looks great!! Are you going to keep it for yourself?
This one is destined for my stall at the Christmas craft fair in December.
Looks good, can I bring my quilt over when I need to back it, for moral support, not for you to do! Ada
Of course! I’m doing mine tomorrow. The front and back are pieced and I have the wadding and binding materials. Just got to decide how brave I’m going to be with the quilting now!
