fiddle-pfaffy

I have been busy making for my winter stall.

Having had a think about what was lacking, I decided that I could do with a few smaller items to sell.

Things to give as little affordable gifts – or to treat yourself to without inducing too much guilt.

So I have spent a fair bit of time this week making lots of these.

They are all made from scraps of vintage fabric.

The red ones are Liberty print lawn from the early 1980s that I found at the bottom of a seldom-rummaged fabric stash bag.

As each one measures only eleven millimetres (less than half an inch) across, they are a bit fiddly to make. And getting them just right entails a fair bit of pfaffing.

They make my fingers feel like sausages.

And I have sore thumbs.

But it will all be worth it when they are in their final form.

Watch this space… all will be revealed shortly!
