My latest commission is a gift for someone who has just had a baby.
A little boy called George.
The commission was a string of bunting, with the baby’s name appliquéd on the flags.
Of course, this instantly threw me into a bit of a panic: all my fabrics are florals!
But some serious rummaging yielded some bolds and brights, spots and dots.
And not a flower in sight.
No, really – not one!
Go on, admit it – you didn’t think I could do it, did you?

Thank you! I do try to keep bits and bobs of other fabrics, but its so hard to resist spending all my fabric budget on flowery gorgeousness when I see it!
