…otherwise known as “fun with vintage fabric buttons: part three…!”
I had a super time over the weekend selecting fabrics to make lots of lovely vintage fabric buttons.
And yes, the epoxy has been out again.
And I did manage not to glue my fingers to each other, or to anything else.
So all is good.
These button rings will make nice little Christmas stocking-fillers.
They are adjustable, comfortable and actually very wearable – adding a quirky touch to that little black dress at Christmas parties a speciality!
Some of the buttons will have little pins on the back instead.
I can see them in my mind’s eye, happily dotted across bags and lapels, brightening up the winter gloom.
And if they don’t sell, my Australian nieces will enjoy them – or I shall happily wear them myself!
Oh they are nice! I love the idea of them on a black coat, it would just add such a burst of colour. x
You are right! A little cluster of them on a dark coat would look great!
Very cute … love the photo of them all lined up in the box … some very pretty fabrics … Bee xx
Thanks!
These rings are so cute! They’re fresh and bright. Totally cheered up my morning seeing these pics!
Thanks Alex! Happy to oblige on the cheerfulness front, I’m feeling quite chirpy today!
I love these, and your little star! I was hoping to get to your craft stall but I’m at the country living Christmas fair! Ada
I might be doing another one at the next Pretty Dandy flea in November – not yet confirmed though. I’ll let you know!
