I love original and affordable poster art.

Its great to be able to change things around on the walls from time to time.

It’s like changing the cushions on your sofa: it makes the familiar look new and lovely again.

Without having to redecorate.

These recent finds are from Polkka Jam, a print company from Finland.

For a pretty reasonable €14 for an A3 poster, you can choose from delicate plants, marimekko-esque kitchen art, cute birds and cats, slightly surreal teapots – and even something for your sewing room wall!

All with a distinctly mid-century slant.

The one at the top of the page is on my wish list.

It would be perfect for our currently rather empty-looking bathroom wall.

If you’re not in the market for a poster, you can also get tea towels, postcards, notebooks, puzzles, calendars, trays and pillows from Polkka Jam’s shop.

Worth bookmarking for Christmas presents, I reckon – if you can bear to part with them!
