Having been away at my friend’s house for the past three days, I have not been doing any sewing.
Upon arrival home last night I was itching to get back to it.
This lovely vintage cotton fabric was left over from making a quilt a while back – and as I came in the door it winked at me.
Almost literally, as it was a mass of holes after fussy-cutting motifs from the fabric to make that folk flowers quilt!
But – there was one little bit still intact. Just enough to make this pretty pair.
And speaking of twice as nice – for all you fellow fabric addicts out there, a bit of news…
I thought I would tip you off that Spoonflower is having one of its two-fat-quarters-for-the-price-of-one promotions from 25th to 31st October.
So, if you’ve been thinking of investing in some of their amazing fabrics, now could be the time.
Or perhaps time to tip-off the present-buyers in your life…!

Lovely cushions, and Yikes!! to the Spoonflower news – so much fabric deliciousness to choose from! x
I know! I am trying to be good, but my iron will is deserting me just when I need it most!
Love these … and Spoonflower .. thanks for the tip … off now to probably spend more than I can afford to
… Bee x
I’m trying to stay away… must… not… look…!
